Brendan Duffy, Chief Technology Officer
|
|
Brendan joined FD in April 2010 and has 20 years experience in the architecting and delivery of IT
systems to the telco and financial services sectors. He has operated at senior levels in several Systems
Integration, IT Consultancy and Technology Start-up companies. Brendan formerly held the position of
VP Market Data Technologies at NYSE Technologies and prior to that was instrumental in the rapid success
of Wombat Financial Software as VP Engineering, heading up the global R&D and support group.

Catherine Harrison, VP HR & Training
|
Catherine joined FD recently having spent 17 years in a client facing, professional services role. Most recently Catherine
worked as a Director within PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory practice where she delivered a range of services to a diverse
client base. She currently has responsibility for all HR and Training related matters in FD and contributes to the
continuing professional development of the entire FD team. Catherine holds a BSc in Finance from Queens University and
is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Jamie Grant, Chief Software Architect
|
Jamie joined FD in 2003 after completing a degree in Mathematics and Physics at Warwick University. He spent several years
in consultancy roles in London and New York, specializing in high frequency market data and algorithmic trading, before
returning to base to join the product development team. His current position is Chief Software Architect for the Delta
product suite.

John Murphy, Head of Research and Development
|
John joined FD in early 2010 and has 15 years experience in the design and building of e-Trading platforms. In his current role,
John is responsible for delivery and global support of the FD RealSteam suite of products. He also has overall responsibility for
the Dublin operational centre. John formerly held the positions of Head of Product Management and most recently Head of R&D at Cognotec.
John holds a BSc in Computer Science from the Dublin Institute of Technology and a BA in Business Management from Liverpool University.

Patrick Dooher, Head of Research and Development
|
Patrick joined First Derivatives in 1999 after completing a Law degree at Queen's University in Belfast. With over 10 years’
experience in the Financial Software Industry he has operated at a senior level on a wide variety of consulting projects
during his time with First Derivatives, across such diverse business lines as Credit Risk, Fixed Income, Equities and
various Hedge Funds.

Sean O’Donnell, Director of Technology
|
Sean joined FD in January 2010 as part of the acquisition of Cognotec where he was Director of Technology and has over
15 years experience working in various senior roles in Enterprise Technology, Product Management and Sales. Prior to that
he was a Senior Product Line Manager for Siebel System, prior to its acquisition by Oracle delivering retail banking
financial solutions. Sean holds a BSc in Computer Science from Trinity College, Dublin and an MSc in Computer Applications
from Dublin City University.

Victoria Shanks, VP Business Development
|
Victoria joined FD in 1997 after completing an Engineering degree and MBA at Queens
University Belfast. She has worked in a number of consulting roles at FD over the years
and is now VP Business Development.

Keith O'Brien, VP of Vendor Services
|
Keith joined First Derivatives in July 2011 and has more than 15 years experience in delivering key solutions to the financial services sector. Prior to First Derivatives,
Keith held senior roles at Calypso Technology where he managed the professional services throughout EMEA (Europe, UK, Middle East, Africa) and also Asia Pacific. With his keen
understanding of capital markets trading and operational environments and the technologies necessary to implement complex solutions, Keith has spent much of his career setting
the implementation vision with client stakeholders as to how to best derive value from their strategic third party technology investments. In his role, Keith is responsible for
providing implementation and support solutions with the directive of steering clients towards long term stability of usage in relation to their 3rd party trading technology systems.

Dale Richards, President of US Operations
|
Dale joined FD in June 2010 and has 25 years experience in the software sector and the
data/information industry. His previous positions include Chief Data Officer, President Enterprise Data
Management (EDM) & Executive Vice President of Corporate Business Development at SunGard. Prior to
SunGard he was President & CEO FAME Information Services, a leading global software and managed
data services vendor in Energy and Financial markets.

John Beckert, MD e-Trading & Risk Management Solutions
|
John joined FD in February 2010 and has 25 years experience of e-Trading. He is responsible for
expanding the company’s e-trading products and presence within the financial services sector. Prior to
joining the company, John managed global business development for Cognotec’s e-Trading products and
services. Prior to that he spent 10 years as a senior executive at Citigroup as part of a management team
responsible for creating and deploying electronic trading services, including the EBS broking service.

Ken Young, Director Capital Markets Consulting Americas Leader
|
Ken joined FD in January of 2010 with over twenty years of capital markets experience with clients
who include many of the top global investment banks and asset managers. His work has included business
strategy development, architecture definition, and implementation management of large scale global
initiatives across the spectrum of equity and fixed income trading applications. Prior to joining First
Derivatives, Ken held positions at m.a. partners, Technology Solutions Company, and Accenture. Ken has a
Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Marc Odho, Managing Director, Data Management Consulting
|
Marc Odho joined FD in August 2010 with the acquisition of LakeFrontData, he is responsible for providing
clients with consulting, advisory, implementation services and expertise in all aspects of Data Management,
including “managed services”. Marc has more than 20 years experience building and operating large-scale,
commercial multi-asset reference and market databases. Previously, Marc was Managing Director of SunGard
Enterprise Data Management, independent senior consultant to a major Risk Software Vendor, Stock Exchange and
Wall Street firms. Managing Director for technology and market data at CIBC World Markets, and Senior Vice
President at Reuters, responsible for database production, data quality control and software development to
support product strategy. Founding member of the EDM Council in 2005.

Bret Bange, MD Global Sales for Reference Data Solutions
|
Bret joined First Derivatives in January 2011 and has over 15 years of sales and sales management experience in the financial technology
and data industries. Before joining the company, Bret was a Senior Director at GoldenSource, achieving record sales levels for the firm.
Prior to that, he spent 5 years as the Vice President of Sales at Scivantage, growing the annual revenue by a multiple of ten.

Rob Hodgkinson , Director Asia Pacific
|
Rob Hodgkinson has worked in Information Technology, developing software in financial markets with a focus
on financial mathematics, for over thirty years. In 1992, together with Paul Phillips, Rob co-founded Financial
Market Software Consultants (FMSC) and they developed the Automated Securities Trading System, a distributed,
memory based order matching system, which was sold to many securities exchanges throughout the world including Shanghai,
Jakarta, Moscow, Montreal, Istanbul, Oslo, Helsinki, Budapest and many others. The system now exists at XStream,
marketed globally by Nasdaq OMX. Rob is currently a director of First (Australia) Pty Ltd, working with kdb+,
the fastest and most widely used in-memory tick capture database globally. Rob has extensive experience in array
programming languages, traditional programming languages, and relational database management systems and performance
optimisation for high volume transaction processing systems.
